Website update and ST1080 Community Forum

We're pleased to announce that we've updated our website with some new features. So, go ahead and poke around.

One key feature that I'd like to introduce, especially to our blog readers and commenters, is our Community Forum. It's a place for you to find and share information about and experiences with the ST1080. It's brand new, so there is no content there. But please do go ahead and use it to your hearts content. Do let us know new categories that you'd like to see in the forum.

I welcome your feedback on the website update as well as the forum.

First thing in terms of feedback I'd say break the forum out into its own big tab (call the big tab just "forums") because in my opinion, a average user wouldn't know to look under the support section for the forums, it definitely wasn't the place I was expecting it to be

I agree that there needs to be a separate Forums tab. I was looking and did not think to look under Support.

I would like to see separate Topics to include: Gaming/VR, and another for Video.

And then for suggestions for topics, I'd say add a off topic section as well, ( cause i mean, not much of us have the st1080 yet :p) , And maybe get rid of the favorite feature topic since that kind of falls under general discussion of the st1080

There is a posting on the forum that states there is an announcement on front page which indicates all pre orders shipped. I cannot find this announcement.

i believe they are just referring to the front page image where it says now shipping, doesnt mean much, id expect Mr Jin or sales to tell us first before that.
